Mentorship docs
Your programs
Mentorship in the portal shows every program you're enrolled in, plus any open programs you can still apply to. Open a program to review its agreements, check-ins, and curriculum. Once you've been matched with a mentor or mentee, open the match from there to log sessions and track your goals.
Mentorship only appears in your portal if the organization has it turned on for you. If you don't see it, ask the organization directly.
Your programs
Sign in and Mentorship opens on Your programs: a card for every program you're enrolled in. Each card shows the program name, your status (Pending, Active, Paused, or Completed), your role, and anything needing attention: overdue check-ins, check-ins due, agreements to sign, or curriculum modules available. If nothing needs attention, the card just says you're all caught up. Select a card to open that program.
If you're not enrolled in any programs yet, the page shows You're not in a program yet with a prompt to browse open programs.
Below your programs, an Open for applications section lists programs at the organization you haven't already joined and that are currently taking applications. Select one to apply; see Applying for how the application form works.
Inside a program
Open a program and you land on its page for Agreements, Check-ins, and Curriculum, whichever the program uses. If a required agreement is still unsigned, a banner across the top tells you how many are outstanding and that you need to sign them before participating. If you're already matched with someone, a link near the top opens your match: co-participants, sessions, and goals.
Agreements
Agreements lists the documents you need to review and sign for the program. Read the agreement (some link out to a full document), check the box confirming you've read and agree to it, and select the sign button. Once signed, the card shows a Signed badge; agreements marked Required need to be signed before you can fully participate.
Check-ins
Check-ins lists the status updates due at the intervals your program set. Each one due or overdue shows its period and due date, with an Overdue or Due badge. Answer its questions (if it has none, you just confirm you met for the period) and select Submit report. A required question left blank shows "Please answer:" followed by the question. Submitted check-ins move to a Submitted list below, newest first.
If nothing is due, the section says no check-ins are due right now.
Curriculum
Curriculum lists the modules and resources your program has published: a title and summary per module, with individual items you can open (some link out to an external resource).
Your match
Once your program coordinator pairs you with a counterpart, open the match link from your program to see it. The Overview card shows who you're paired with (your Mentors if you're the mentee, your Mentees if you're the mentor: a match can pair several people at once), the match status (Forming, Active, Paused, Completed, Ended, or Archived), and when you were matched.
Logging sessions
The Sessions card lets you log your meetings so your program coordinator can see your progress. Select Log a session and fill in When (required), Duration (minutes), Title, and Notes (all optional), and Attendance (Attended, No-show, Rescheduled, or Cancelled, starting on Attended). Select Save session. Logged sessions, yours and any your coordinator added, appear in a list below, newest first.
Updating your goals
The Goals card lists the goals your program coordinator set for the match, each with a target date if one was added. You don't create goals yourself; your coordinator does. Use the status menu next to a goal to mark it Not started, In progress, Achieved, or Dropped. The change saves as soon as you pick it. If there are no goals yet, the card says your coordinator will add them.
