Built in Canada,
for the organizations that hold communities together.

Every small organization we know runs on some version of the same stack: a CRM chosen years ago, an email tool bolted to it, a ticketing vendor, a course platform, and a spreadsheet that quietly outranks them all. Holding it together is one administrator, who re-keys the same person into four systems, reconciles reports that never quite agree, and is the only one who knows which of the three Margarets is the same Margaret.

We built Mercleo because we kept watching that person do robotic work between systems that refused to talk. The industry's answer is integration: keep the five tools, add plumbing. We had spent enough time on the receiving end of that answer to distrust it. Syncs drift, fields map imperfectly, and the administrator is still the one who notices. So we made the opposite bet: one person record, shared. The member who buys a ticket, takes the course and makes a gift is one row, not three reconciled ones. Focused products sit on top: relationships and giving, people and hiring, events and learning. None of them owns a private copy of a human being.

We build for nonprofits, associations and small businesses: organizations big enough to run real programs and far too small to have an operations team mopping up after their software. The industry mostly offers them enterprise software scaled down until it is merely confusing, or consumer tools scaled up until they buckle. We think they deserve software built for their actual shape.

Our mission. Give small organizations the backbone big ones take for granted.

One accurate record of every person, one sign-in, one bill, and focused products that share the work instead of fragmenting it. The people running nonprofits, associations and small businesses get their time back for the mission they actually signed up for.

The longer version of this story is on the blog, in Why we built Mercleo. The short version is one sentence: we built Mercleo so the administrator can stop being the software.

Our values. What we hold ourselves to.

Transparency

We are direct about what our products do today and what is still on the roadmap, so the organizations that rely on us can plan with confidence.

Reliability

Organizations run their daily operations on Mercleo, so dependability is the baseline: accurate records, controlled access, correct receipts.

Community first

We build for the organizations that hold communities together, and we price so the community you serve is never the cost.
