Offer templates

An offer template is the contract you write once, under Settings > Hiring > Offer templates, and reuse for every hire. It's a rich-text document broken into sections, with tokens that get filled in automatically per candidate and places for both sides to sign.

Merge fields that fill in automatically

Insert a merge token anywhere in the body and it's replaced with the candidate's or offer's actual value when you send. The built-in tokens are candidate name, first name, last name, email, position, company and start date, plus the preparer's name, email and title.

Custom fields

Beyond the built-in tokens, define your own fields on the template: text, multi-line text, date or a dropdown of options you set. Each becomes a fill-in token in the body, and you're prompted to fill it in whenever you start an offer from that template.

Signature blocks

Place a candidate signature block, an employer signature block or both side by side, wherever a signature belongs in the document. Initials blocks are separate tokens you can place on individual pages if you want the candidate or employer to initial specific sections.

Letterhead

Upload a letterhead image (PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF, up to 5 MB) and it appears as a banner at the top of the first section of every offer sent from that template.
