Application questions

A question set bundles ordered sections of questions, with rules for when a question shows, into a reusable unit you attach to a posting. Build your questions once in Settings, then reuse or adjust them per role instead of rebuilding an application form from scratch every time you post a job.

The question bank and question sets

The question bank holds individual question templates: their label, help text, type and whether they're required. A question set arranges bank questions into ordered sections and can be marked as your org's default. Every new posting clones its starting questions from the default set.

Available question types: short text, long text, email, phone, URL, number, date, single-select dropdown, multi-select, checkbox, yes/no and file upload.

Name and email are standard questions on every posting and can't be removed.

Attach a question set to a posting

Attaching a set to a posting copies its sections and questions onto that posting, so you can then tweak individual questions for that role without touching the shared set. Swapping to a different set later discards those posting-level tweaks and re-copies from the newly picked set, so a confirmation dialog walks you through it first.

Show a question only when another answer matches

You can gate a question or an entire section behind an earlier answer: pick an upstream question and a value, and the gated question only appears when that answer matches. The upstream question has to appear earlier in the set, so applicants never hit a question that depends on something they haven't answered yet.
