Setup and branding

Every workspace gets a portal automatically, there is nothing to turn on. Sign in and open /manage to reach the admin area. Any teammate on your Mercleo account can open it, there is no separate portal-admin role.

Branding lives in two places

Your logo, brand colors, and favicon are account-wide and set once, under Settings → Branding in your Mercleo Account. The portal's own Branding & theme page (/manage/branding) only covers what is specific to the portal: its hero image, sign-in copy, home layout, and page colors. Changing your brand colors in your Mercleo Account still updates the portal automatically; you do not need to repeat it here.

Set the hero image and sign-in copy

On the Branding & theme page, the Hero & sign-in group lets you upload a hero image (PNG, JPG, or WEBP, up to 5 MB) shown behind sign-in, and write a heading and subheading for that screen. You can also paste an image URL instead of uploading, useful if you're already hosting the image elsewhere.

Customize portal colors (optional)

The Surfaces group sets the page background, card background and text color used throughout the portal. The Top navigation group sets the nav bar's background, text and active-tab color.

Choose what appears on the portal home

Signed-in members land on a home screen built from a set of sections you can show, hide and reorder: Your applications, Continue learning, Upcoming events and Your giving. A matching set of quick-action buttons, Browse events, Start application, Resume learning and Make a gift, works the same way. You can also pin a featured event to the top of the home screen instead of letting it pick automatically.

Under /manage/footer, you set one footer for the whole portal: whether it shows at all, whether it includes your logo, an optional tagline, social links, and up to several columns of custom links. A live preview updates as you edit. Legal links (privacy policy, terms) are managed centrally under your account's Legal settings, not here.

Post updates to your portal home

Under /manage/updates, you can write short posts, each with a title, body, optional link, and optional image, that show in the main column of the portal home. A draft stays hidden until you publish it.
