Participant accounts and sign-in

Participants don't set a password. They sign in with a one-time code sent to their email, and that single sign-in carries them across every product portal on your workspace, tickets, courses, mentorship, applications, all of it.

How someone signs in

A participant enters their email, gets a sign-in code, and enters it, no password involved. By default, the email has to already belong to a known contact of yours, someone you've registered, invited, or otherwise added. If your account allows public course signups, an unrecognized email can still sign up to enroll in a public course; a portal account is created for them at that point.

Review who has signed in

Customers, under /manage/customers, lists everyone who has ever signed in to your portal. Search by email or name; select a row to open the full detail page: when they were created, when they were last seen, which email addresses they've verified, and their group memberships.

Suspend or restore access

From a customer's detail page, the Access card lets you suspend or unsuspend their portal sign-in, with an optional reason recorded on suspend.

Group your customers for module access

Groups, under /manage/groups, is a lightweight way to organize customers, create a group, name it, and add members by searching your contacts. Groups exist for one purpose today: restricting a portal module to a subset of your customers, see Modules for how to apply a group to a module. You can also add someone to a group directly from their customer detail page.
