Deals

The Deals page tracks sales opportunities through your pipeline as a board or table, with saved views, filters, CSV export, and a per-stage weighted forecast.

Deals is where you track sales opportunities as they move through a pipeline. View them as a kanban Board or a flat Table, save your own filtered views, search, and export to CSV.

Creating a deal

Click New Deal to open the deal dialog. It asks for:

  • Deal name: required.
  • Pipeline and Stage: the pipeline pre-selects the one you're viewing, and the stage list updates to match.
  • Company (optional): a searchable picker that links the deal to a company. It only appears when your workspace has companies to choose from.
  • Amount (optional): a number plus a currency dropdown: USD, CAD, EUR, or GBP (defaults to USD).
  • Expected close (optional): a date picker.

Click Create deal to save. If your workspace has no pipeline yet, set one up first. See Pipelines.

Board and Table views

Two icon buttons next to the toolbar's search switch between the kanban Board and the flat Table. When your workspace runs more than one pipeline, a pipeline switcher appears to their left showing the active pipeline's name; the board and its column money are always scoped to one pipeline at a time.

Saved views

The chip row above the toolbar starts with All deals and lists any views your team has saved. Set the pipeline, status, owner, and search you want, then click + Add view to name and save that combination for everyone on the account. Views are capped at five; hover a view's chip and click the × to delete it.

Filtering and searching

A search box filters deals by name as you type. The funnel icon opens a Filters popover with two groups:

  • Status: Open (the default), Won, Lost, or All.
  • Owner: All owners or a specific team member.

A dot on the funnel icon marks that a non-default filter is active.

Reading the board

Each column header leads with the stage's money: the total of every priced deal in it, with the deal count beside it, and a quieter Weighted line beneath. The weighted figure multiplies each deal's amount by its probability; a deal with no probability set still counts at 100%, so an unestimated deal isn't treated as worthless.

Every card shows the deal name, its linked company (if any), the amount, the expected close date (in red if it's overdue on an open deal), and a footer with the per-deal probability as a small bar and percentage, an open-task count when the deal has any, how long ago it was last updated, and the owner's avatar.

Drag a card between columns to move its stage, or use the menu in a card's corner for a Move to submenu plus Mark won and Mark lost on open deals. A column with more deals than fits can be collapsed to a vertical strip with the chevron icon in its header; collapsed state is remembered per pipeline.

Reading the table

Table view lists every deal in the active pipeline as rows, with columns for Name, Stage, Owner, Amount, Expected Close, Status, and Updated. Click any row, or the deal name, to open it.

Exporting deals

The download icon in the toolbar exports the currently filtered pipeline and status as a CSV file.

Opening a deal

Clicking a deal, in either view, opens its full record in an inspector panel over the board or table. See Deal workspace for what's inside. Closing the panel returns you to exactly the view and filters you had open.

The Forecast → link in the toolbar opens the probability-weighted revenue projection for the active pipeline. See Forecast.
