Teams

Teams are how the People area represents your org's structure: Engineering, Sales or a smaller group nested under one of those. Each team can have a parent team, a lead and any number of members.

Create a team

Open People > Structure, then New team. You'll set:

• Name: required.
• Description: optional, shown on the team's own page.
• Parent team: leave as Top-level, or nest it under an existing team.
• Team lead: optional, picked from your directory.
• Colour: shows as an accent on the team's chart node and its row in the structure list.

Add members

Open a team from Structure to see its member list and add people to it. You can also add an employee to a team from their own record's Overview tab: it's the same team membership either way, and an employee can be a member of more than one team.

Deleting a team

Delete a team from its own page. Any sub-teams it had move up to top-level rather than being deleted with it, so nothing underneath disappears.
