Sales docs
Overview
The Sales area tracks the money you are pursuing: every opportunity as a deal, moving through the stages you define, with priced proposals and Stripe invoices raised from the deal itself. Everything lands on the same records the rest of Mercleo uses, so a won deal sits on the contact's timeline next to their emails, registrations and gifts.
Set up in this order
- Define your pipelines and their stages under Data model in settings. Deals cannot move until stages exist.
- Add any deal fields your team needs beyond name, amount and stage.
- Build the product catalogue and your tax rates once, so proposals reuse them instead of retyping line items.
Day to day
- Work the board or table on the Deals page, with saved views, filters and CSV export.
- Open any deal into its deal workspace: identity rail, stage bar and tabs for activity, proposals, invoices, tasks and linked records.
- Price the work as proposals, then bill accepted line items as invoices through your connected Stripe account.
- Watch expected revenue in the forecast, weighted by each deal's own probability.
Donation and receipting work lives in its own module docs: see the Donations section of these docs for giving pages, gifts and CRA-compliant receipts.
