GivingCheckout
A giving page that is yours. Your brand on the page, your Stripe under it, and every attempt (confirmed or not) on the record.
Put the ask online. Configured, not coded.
A donation ask is one thing you set up: amounts, branding, where the money lands. It goes live at its own web address the moment you switch it on.
- A named ask, with the amounts you suggest
- Or the donor’s own amount, above your floor
- Its own web address to share anywhere, and nobody finds it by guessing
- Your accent, your logo, your cover image
- The “Powered by” footer can come off entirely
Then watch it honestly. Attempts and all.
Nothing disappears: failed and expired attempts stay visible too, and only a confirmation produces the transaction, the donor, and the receipt.
- One row per attempt, from the moment it starts
- Pending, confirmed, failed, refunded or expired: named
- A confirmed gift becomes an uneditable transaction
- The donor resolves to a contact, address and all
- Receipting per donation? Issued and emailed on its own
Why it works this way. Three choices worth naming.
Your Stripe, your money
The checkout session and the charge are created on your own Stripe account and settle to your balance. Mercleo hosts the page and keeps the records: it is never in the money path.
The address is not small talk
The form asks for a mailing address because an official receipt needs one. It lands on the contact record, so the receipt that follows can actually be issued.
Nothing depends on memory
The attempt, the confirmation, the transaction, the donor, the receipt: each is a record the next one links to. Reconciliation is reading, not reconstructing.
The gift is the beginning. The receipt is the part your auditor reads.
No. Payment is a direct charge on your own Stripe account: the funds settle to your Stripe balance and reach your bank on your payout schedule. We host the page and keep the records.
They stay on the record as attempts and expire, visibly, as their own status. Only a confirmed attempt produces a transaction, so your money records never contain a gift that didn’t happen.
Not yet: checkout today takes one-time gifts only. If a monthly program is core to your fundraising, plan on running it elsewhere for now; we would rather say so than blur it.
Accent colour, logo, cover image, and a switch that removes the “Powered by” footer entirely, so the page reads as yours because it is.
An amount, a name, an email, and optionally their mailing address, which is what makes the official receipt possible. Fewer fields than most giving pages, and a reason behind each one.
The transaction is recorded immutably, the donor lands on a real contact record, your workflows can fire on it, and if you receipt per donation, the receipt is issued and emailed without anyone touching it.
